Trends 2021: from Pantone yellow to the colours of nature

What trends do colour experts predict for the year 2021?

The debate always starts with Pantone's launch of the colour of the year, but it is not the only voice in the furniture world giving style and colour guides.

Grey and yellow for Pantone

As has already happened in the past, Pantone has designated not one, but two colours of the year for 2021. The "Ultimate Gray" and the "Illuminating" yellow have been chosen as the colours of 2021 with the message "marrying a deep sense of caring with the optimistic promise of a sunny day". So a grey, a certainty, a timeless classic of interior design, and a vibrant yellow, bringing brightness and positivity.

Blue for San Marco

Confidence, hope and serenity are the values that all colour experts want to convey in this 2021 through the decorations of our homes.
The San Marco colour company is also focusing on these concepts, choosing as its colour of the year "Blu Bacino", an intense, warm and deep shade.

Earth tones for Sikkens

"A neutral, warm, natural and balanced shade that gives us support", this is an earthy beige, an ideal base for creating new combinations, a base that brings out the other colours.

Relax and calm for Farrow & Ball

Nature and relaxation are the main themes of 2021, with its colours Farrow & Ball also maintains this line and proposes three palettes linked to shades of blue, green and earth colours, the elements of nature enter our homes to give a sense of tranquillity.
