The new Inglass company restaurant designed by Driusso-Skema

A large wall in Akustika of 95sqm, to harmonize the sound in the best way. This is one of the strategic elements included by architect Franco Driusso in the project for Inglass for his new company restaurant. 

Inglass is a company based in San Polo di Piave - Treviso - with an international scope, established on the automotive market with offices also in the USA and China. For its head quarter, it has recently completed a considerable expansion of the building, which includes the construction of a new company restaurant.

To give shape and meaning to this space, architect Franco Driusso was called upon to take care of the entire project: from the walls to the lighting systems, the architect defined all the elements so that functionality would also have a refined aesthetic, in harmony with the company's image.

This is the context in which the choice of materials, which have been harmonised with Inglass institutional colours and have been selected according to specific needs.

The wall in Akustika DF

One of the architect's targeted choices was to design a 95 square metre wall to correct the distribution of sound in the large room.

The aim was achieved with a sound correction wall in Akustika Skema in panels measuring 192x2838x16 mm, in the white decorative SR 209 DF 13/3 FP 16 dim and installed by the trusted partner Punto Ciemme.

The fireproof panels (DF) are machined on the surface in order to optimise the absorption of sound waves, in this case adopting the model 13/3 FP 16 where every 13 mm of full strips alternate 3 mm in which the slat is milled and drilled with holes 8 mm in diameter, 16 mm apart.
