From 12 to 14 October, at the exhibition centre in Rimini, SKEMA will be taking part in Superfaces, the marketplace dedicated to surfaces for architecture and interior design, which will be held at the same time as SIA Hospitality Design.
You will be able to visit the SKEMA booth in Hall D5, Stand 053, a space of over 160 square metres, overlooking the exhibition dedicated to supermaterials, curated by Studio Marco Piva. Here SKEMA brings solutions for the horeca sector, in a multi-sensory journey through its surfaces, which evolve and can be transformed into furnishing solutions for hotels, restaurants, bars and all public places dedicated to hospitality.
In the exhibition space, the new SKEMA products will be on display in typical hotellerie settings. There will be Star.Wood, the first SPC/wood hybrid floor and the renewed Lumbertech, with all the new colours proposed for oil or varnish finishes and the new formats, including Lumbertech S700 with herringbone laying. At the fair, space will be given to strategic products for those seeking specific solutions combined with design research, such as SPC Star.K, ideal for the bathroom environment, or the outdoor decking in WPC Marina Pacto.
Central to SKEMA's offer are proposals for the acoustic treatment of rooms, rigid panels and textile devices that can be combined and integrated, such as Akustika coverings, Trametes acoustic balancers or Skinì adaptive partitions.
As a demonstration of how SKEMA and SKEMAidea products can modify the environment, improving acoustic well-being, on the stand a corridor fitted with Akustika and Trametes will connect the world of performance surfaces to the meeting room, acoustically calibrated with SKEMA acoustic balancing solutions to correct the reverberation of speech that large glass surfaces would tend to amplify.
The SKEMA space will also be an opportunity to promote a new exhibition formula. Two-dimensional performance surfaces will be presented in innovative corners, exhibition concepts that allow the product to be told in all its facets, in an integrated and comprehensive manner. There will be stands in the stand, islands that allow visitors to enter the worlds of Star.K, Star.Wood and Lumbertech, with concrete applications in the horeca and bathroom environments. In particular, Lumbertecha, the corner dedicated to Lumbertech, gives the opportunity to see wood enhanced in resistance in all its possible applications, both as a surface covering but also in its Lumbertech Modular declination, which allows the construction of furnishing elements such as bookcases, equipped walls with concealed cabling, bathrooms, open wardrobes or entire hotel rooms.
